Smaller Spare Tire?

I think it's should be ok as far as you use it as spare tire. If you not going to drive too fast (max. 80km/h or 50mph) and will drive to nearest tire center. Most passenger cars has small spare tire and it works well. From another point of view, if you going to use it as primary tire - no, you should get the same size as main 4 tires.

The smaller cars with the donut spares are ok because they don't have 4wd.
You COULD get away with it by lowering the pressure of the opposite side or all 3 but I think the difference is small enough to get away with it. I wouldn't drive it very far like that but it should be ok in a pinch.

This came up in another tread. I just have a need to know. I will be replacing my stock tires (when the time comes) with the stock size (Revos of course). I will be on pavement 98% of the time. I want the wider stock size. A half inch taller is not going to make a difference for the driving I do.

The stock V8 hitch looks the same, round tube and all. It may even be better.
