Smaller tires on front?

I can wheelie my 1st gen. Honestly. No lie.

It's the 3.0L 6 cylinder manual, and 1st gear is so short that when you hit the throttle it doesn't just accelerate, it jumps forward. So one day I was messing around and I figured out I could jump it forward, let off the gas and then as the front end was rebounding I could gas it again and literally bounce the front end off the ground. I refrain from doing it much as it's terrible on the drive train. But so much fun.

That's funny, my 1st gen did a pretty bad first gear shuffle, like neck breaking if not ready for it, but no wheels off the ground!!

Ok, but who do you know that owns a 4WD truck and uses it that way?

The OP specifically asked about using it in 4WD.

I agree 2 different sizes are a bad idea, but I own a 4WD truck and I only put it in 4wd on slippery surfaces. I rarely even use 4X4 offroad unless I'm hitting something steep or slippery

Yeah I love it. I'm amazed at how solid mine feels even with some front end work needed. It cruises just as smooth as my 3rd gen at 75mph. And I like the metallic sound when you shut the doors. Solid as a tank. I really REALLY want to keep it, but might have to sell due to finances.
