Smittybilt Winch

I have a Smittybilt X20 10,000#. I did some research before I got it, and it appears to rate nearly as well as the Warn for considerably less..

The majority of the new Jeep crowd uses Smittybilt winches, but they also buy a lot of angry grills...I have a Warn on my Jeep, but will probably go with a SB for the 4R. For my uses, the 4R won't see nearly as much trail time as the Jeep, nor will it be as tough of terrain as the Jeep. For my minimal uses I think the SB will do just fine.

Anyone run a smittybilt winch?

Thinking of trying one out. I will not use it often as I live in oklahoma and not a ton of trail runs to be had. Anyone ever used one? This series has synthetic line also for a reasonable price.

Any 1st person reviews?

Or a Warn M8000s is an option also.

Smittybilt 97495 XRC Winch. Off-road enthusiasts know the value of a good winch. When their expensive, weekend off-road vehicle of choice gets stuck knee deep in mud, they’ll only want the absolute best winch for the recovery task.

I recently bought a shittybilt......... it does the job, but it is known as a shittybilt for a reason.
