smittybilt winchs any reviews?

Hello,
looking to pull the trigger on a smittybilt but before i do just wanted to get some quick reviews. XCR-8 or XCR8

I am going to go with the XRC-8. The first couple years they had some issues but now the reviews are really good. Also need to consider how often you are going to use it per year. I recently went wheeling with a guy who had one and asked him how it was holding up considering the price difference between Smittybuilt and a Warn, Ramsey one. He wheels hard all over the US and said he uses it 30+ times a year(most are a few times every coulpe years) and has yet to have an issue. It is slower then some of the others but he is happy. Based on his review I am going to buy one.

Pulls hard, gets hot, make sure there's a 4Wheelparts close-by and maybe have them install it so they take it on and off when it needs work. Lifetime warranty for the price makes it a good deal.

We used a XRC10 Comp winch to get out of a bowl out in the Oceano Dunes last weekend, it worked with no issues and easily handled the weight of a 4th gen heavily modified Runner. :bigok:
