Smoked chrome SE headlight conversion

Instead of blacking out my headlights, I'm looking to convert my SR5 headlights to the smoked chrome headlights of the Sport Editions. Does anyone know the best paint to use to match it to the smoked chrome of the Sport Editions?

I'm assuming you can't purchase the smoked chrome portion of the headlight from Toyota and that you have to purchase the whole headlight assembly. Does anybody know differently?

Also, if anybody is looking to black out their SE headlights, let me know as I'd definitely like to trade my SR5 headlights for yours.

I think it might be the lens that is smoked, not the chrome part. I could be wrong. Either way, VHT nightshades would probably be the way to go, but in all honesty, with my experience with the stuff, you should buy the SE headlights, and not try to do it yourself. It's not gonna be nearly as easy as blacking them out, because you have to spray just the right amount *evenly* on both of the lights.

On the SE it is the actually chrome inside of the lens that is smoked. Strange i know, but that how Toyota did it. I too would just buy the SE lights off ebay or something instead of doing it yourself.

Interesting that they did it that way. Better, actually, because then the light is not affected by it.
