Smoked headlights

Hey guys
I am New to the forum and recently purchased an 03 silver limited v8 and was looking into restoring and smoking the stock headlights. I was going to use lamin-x and use the Tint (light) smoking for the headlight its self and the yellow for fogs. I wasn't sure if I should paint the inside of my headlight as well. So what do you guys think!

i wouldn't do that, youll lose a lot of light output.
instead, a lot of guys black out the housings though, search around theres a bunch of threads on it. you have to bake the headlights in an oven to separate the lens
