Didn't you have a LED third brake light? Any ABS problems?

ya i also have tha smoked third and as soon as i put the brake lights in the abs came on. ill take care of that shortly.

Looks more like the black ones instead of the smoked, but they look really good! Take some daytime shots if you can!

Hey blkrunner, I hate to say it but you have to choose one or the other when it comes to LED tails and brake lamps... I bought those smoked ones a while back and then put an LED in the brake light... ABS came on, the tail lights you bought DONT need resistors the way they are built! The third brake light cannot have a LED in it, even with resistors in the third brake light, some guys had to leave the original halogen in place and also splice in a LED in order to get the look they wanted... Just search the topic and youll see the lengthy write up on it. Sorry to say, but I have been there and done that, I wish it wasnt so...

I thought you could have one or the other. Like LED tail lights won't throw the ABS light on by themselves and the LED third brake light won't throw the light on either by itself, but combined they throw the light on. Is this correct?

I really can't tell what the difference is between the smoked and the regular OEM looking ones.

I guess the OEM ones are clear-ish on the top half and red on the bottom half and the smoked ones are light grey all the way?

I have the same color 4runner as you eddie and can't decide which ones to purchase. You have the red third brake light right?

yeah the plastic itself is grey, and most of the trim on the inside is black... I'll post new pics because my truck has been updated since these...

That would be great. If it doesn't annoy you could you get a pretty up close shot of just one tail light and a little of the 4runner. I just want to make sure the smoked ones flow with the color. Lol.

haha I will do that especially since it is finally clean! We have had some snow and all the mag chloride has been leaving the truck filthy!
