smoking BAD!!!

i have a 94 4runner, v6. for some reason whenever the car has been running a bit and i push the AC button smoke starts pouring out of the tailpipe very bad. you cant hardly see behind you. it even come into the cab. any thoughts???

Just for drill check the color of your oil. If it looks like coffee with cream it's a blown head gasket. Now I am assuming that the color of the smoke is white since you didn't specify. More information would be helpful.

the oil looks normal. besides being just a little dark because its time for it to be changed. i do have a leak somewhere. the smoke is kind of a blue-ish color. but it only happens when i turn on the AC

Bluish smoke sounds like it's burning oil. The only thing that is AC related is the vacuum system. Do all your controls work normally on the AC?

the smoke is a bluish white color. i know it is using a little bit of oil but nothing major at all. yes all my ac controls work fine. i was told it my be a bad EGR valve. but im not really sure and wanted some other opinions before i replaced that. cause they are not real cheap and not fun to mess with.
