Snap ring pliers

I've been assembling a tool kit for basic maintenance and off-road emergencies, and I'm trying to figure out which snap ring wrench or wrenches I should buy. I have an 02 4Runner that will get the most use but will also work on an 07 Jeep and maybe a Mini Cooper from time to time.

I have tried searching but can't seem to come up with a specific answer, so is there a particular size or configuration I will need? Brand isn't what I'm asking after, but I figure it will come down to Snap-On, Knipex or Channelock.

Thanks for the help

I've seen some that have changeable tips but the knipex set I'm looking at doesn't. As I understand it there are various sized tips and different angles like 90 and 45.

I have a set of Channel Locks that I use for repairs pneumatic tools. You can change the tips out on them.

I don't believe there is any trail-side repair that requires a snap ring pliers. The only part on the 4runner I've come across that even had one is the wheel bearings.
