Had a fun trip to my cabin with some good friends. Snow started early and didn't let up so we had to pack in a night early so we wouldn't literally get snowed in. 4Runner did AWESOME in the snow, even up the steep logging road leaving. My buddies Avalanche struggled in a place or two, but not the Toyota! Fun times!!

Sweet pictures! Looks like it was a good time. Gotta love romping in the snow in the woods with your Runner :)

It's funny because I just had a "discussion" with my friend who owns an Avalanche about which is better in the snow and off-road haha.

It's in the Ozarks in Big Piney Creek National Forest. It was built in the early 50's and willed to my dad and I by the owner. Just one room 14' x 21'. No power (12 volt system w/ solar panels) or running water. We own the orginal 1 acre and 5.5 more on a steep hillside that borders our land. Surrounded by thousands of acres of public land. Tons of off roading all over. Here's a couple more pics. Half the fun is the drive in and out! 4x4 is a necessity!

I took mine through the woods on freshly made jeep trail that went around a blocked off mud hole. I'm sure I was the first "nice" vehicle to go over all those small trees! I noticed the trac control did it's job well. Kept me in check. When I wanted to romp a bit I locked the diff. To be fair, the Avalanche's tires were less than 20% left, but I still think our 4runners are the best!

I'll be ready! Looks like 1-2" Tonight and more Tues/Wed! Of course you never really know, but sure would be nice.

Blair Witch is right!
My 4runner has FJ springs and Bilstein 5100's set on .85". So it's slightly lifted, but nothing crazy. Perfect for what I wanted.
