Snow in Atlanta? Time for donuts!

I tried doing donuts without the center differential and that didn't work so well (VSC). This is with it locked. It looks like I was a few days late for doing the mod that would allow me to disengage the VSC and keep the center differential open. Still lots of fun! 2 Kids in the back were screaming for more!!

Does look like fun! :thumb3: Looks like theres a lot of pavement showing, that wasn't helping you either. Its harder to get our AWD's doin donuts. 4x2's are much easier and more fun. I put my dads tundra in 2wd, turn off the traction control and the real fun begins! :reddance:

I love playing around doing donuts in the snow. There is no better way to learn how your vehicle will react if pushed. Every kid that is ever going to drive on snow should be taken to a snowy parking lot and make it get sideways and figure out how to straighten it out. It doesn't matter what kind of car it is. That way they might not panic if it happens and have some sort of idea what to do.... I grew up in MI so i had plenty of chances to learn

As a teenager a friend and I found the most out of the way empty parking lot in a big city park next to a couple softball fields, trees on 3 sides of the lot and spent a half hour playing around in 6-8 inches of snow, switching drivers in his 89 Toyota pickup. It was great clean fun, hurting no one. When we were done there was a cop waiting at the entrance (only one way in and out). They proceded to give us the hardest time about it. Accused us of drinking, searched the vehicle for drugs ect.. They found nothing. We were clean. I think it made them more mad they could not find any reason to haul us in. Ended up with just the "thats a dangerous way to have fun" speech and away we went with no tickets. It was really silly of them if you ask me.
