Anybody used this before?

Looks like it should be able to work with our 4runners.

i thought about making something like this, but imho, its best to let the american made pickups and trucks do this if you know what i mean

I had a couple of people tell me the same thing. As a matter of fact, they said anything American can handle it, as long as its 4wd. I dont think I can agree with that though!

If I'm not mistaken, one of the vehicles using the plow from the rear tow hitch is a Toyota Highlander!

sorry, let me be more clear...
unless its a toyota TUNDRA with the 5.7 L engine, i wouldnt allow my toyota to touch a snow plow. Otherwise, get a chevy or dodge or ford for that. YOu can do some serious damage to your tranny and engine pushing snow thats really deep..

Bringing this back from the dead considering the weather in the NE. Anybody try this yet?

I've been thinking:

Either get this for about $1000 for the 2-6 inches we usually get around here per storm,

OR

buy a snow blower for $600.

With the plow I will be warm and dry and done in 5 minutes. With the blower, I will be cold and wet and done in maybe 30 minutes.


Hmmmmm..... What do you guys think?

If you only see a couple inches per storm, I'd invest in the plow for convenience and but anything over a foot and I'd bust out the blower. It's the only time I drive a Honda!!

Whats the fun in that? LOL

I have tried that. My experience was that they: A) Never showed up, or B) they showed up two days after the storm, which was too late since I had to shovel before that.

I use 4x4 Kawasaki Mules on the campus where I work....they plow like hell...I love them.

:iagree: We have Mules at Northstar, tough machines! When we get too much, they use bobcats with blowers sending it into dumptrucks.
