you got your opinion and i have mine. i just happen to like the white lettering on that particular tire. the solid white lettering like the bfg all terrain ko look good with the white letter out. but then again im bias, i have the same tires and size with white letters out. its all personal prefferance. it will look good either way.

Welcome to the forum...this is SUCH a bold questions. You need to do research, use the search function. Oh, and I don't think the Runner in this thread is lifted...so he might not know either.

They look almost gun-metal in color.

That's because they are. Toyota offered 2 colors of the FJ wheel. Once being silver, the other gun metal. The silver ones are easy to come by. You can even get them at the dealer for $125-$150 (depending on who you know.) However, the gunmetal rims are much tougher to come by. Most dealers don't even show them as an option.

oh the whites are on the inside...

BFGs are one of the very few tires that has nice but not obnoxious lettering and looks good. The Duelers have one of the worst lettering IMO as it almost dominates the whole sidewall.

Or are they symmetrical so that you can just flip them so the black side faces out, like you can with the stock dunlops?

Yes,they're flippable.

Nittos have nice lettering too but no white option.
