Fyi you're not going to get a power gain that you can feel, or an efficiency change with a muffler. However, of you two options, the Magnaflow is straight through design. So for what you're looking for, that's your best chance.
I have the 22'' Maggie and love it. I would consider a flowmaster however. Mine is almost stock sounding at idle, but I swear it sounds like straight headers when I get on it... lol

I have the Gibson Exhaust. It's very deep and aggressive, but at the same time not too loud. I do feel a small increase in power, especially on the highway when I open her up.
Thanks for the help guys! Did you guys happen to remove a resonator? Replaced the tubing in your exhaust system? I want the magnalflow but j.ust want that best possible setup! Looking at 2.5" tubing, is there a negative side to doing that? And yes I searched, the board seems to be divided

I have the Borla dual exhaust........love 'em and get compliments all the time.
Is it a custom system? Where can I find a sound clip? I searched on YouTube, some showed up but not sure if it's the right one lol
The reason why I'm getting it done is because my resonator gets smashed on the trail lol so removing it is a must!

I have the Borla Dual Catback exhaust system as well. Lots of compliments. I love it. Having a dual it splits the sound down the middle not giving one person the full force of the noise being made. You are really paying for the sound with all of these kits in my opinion. I was lucky enough to experience a Flowmaster, Magnaflow, and Gibson kit before buying one. The only system I couldn't sample was the Borla but Chaz had me sold on it without even hearing it. I paid close attention to drones with the other kits which there are plenty of threads about that topic here. Some people couldn't take it and others said they couldn't tell if it was there.
Again you aren't paying for performance gain, you are paying for a better sound/experience. When people say they feel an increase in power when they open it up, really I believe that to be your ears hearing a greater sound than before. The con to the Borla is the price. Take that into consideration if you are taking a lot of damage to the same area under your 4runner on the trails. I have not done anything too aggressive so I can't comment. Me personally if I knew I was taking constant beatings down there, I wouldn't go with the most expensive kit.

yea, im very happy with the borla myself but its big $, part of its sound comes from the fairly large resonated tips & if you smash the oem resonator offroad, the borla's may get damaged as well. a shop can tuck em up closer to the body but that cost even more. you could also get the borla muffler & have the shop fab up the dual exhaust if thats what you want but the tone may not be the same, it will be much less costly tho.
