I have decided to buy the TRD Catback Exhaust System. It should be here in 5 days so you'll be hearing about it soon.

Since no one has really talked about the trd exhaust on a v6 I plan on posting a full write up with sound and video clips for anyone else that decides to buy it.

good, im glad someone did it, i want to know if its really that much better than a borla, and i wanna know how it looks and sounds... nice dude, nice
 
I talked to my dad who used to have it on his old 99 4runner and he said he liked it but the only reason he took it off was because my mom didn't like the sound.

I do recall back when I was a kid when we went to the store after he got it on and it was the nastiest sounding thing I had ever heard (in a good way).

I am really excited. Yay.

Well it's been like an hour and a half and we are still waiting... J/K

Please do post those up when you have everything together. I too could not find much along those lines for the TRD.

I will tell you the cabin noise level is low. I rode in the 1700RPM range to investigate the drone and all I heard was a lower grumble if thats what theyre talking about. The sound wasn't too loud and you could definately talk over it. I did like the sound.

i like that. Im going to put the borla on my 4runner soon. But the TRD cat back sounds really nice. Did you see any improvement in performance?

I can feel a performance change yes. It reminds me of my dads old V8 4runner he had with the throttle sensitivity and all.

I'll really drive it hard tomorrow and let you know for sure.

I am doing the best I can. I have been extemely tied up this weekend between lawn work, home work, and my damned computer not working properly (may sell?).

I did take another outside the car clip and thats all I can do now. When I get some more help, I'll grab my microphone that we used to record with for less of that nasty vibrating sound. But untill then, here's another.

yeah, i dont know if you have video capabilities, but if you could take a video of your truck driving down a street say from 0-45 that would be cool (outside the vehicle, one vantage point) thanks
