So my backdoor lock cylinder broken inside the door

I own a '99 limited and the lock cylinder broke off from the two points where it secures itself inside the backdoor garnish piece. Has anyone messed around inside the back door and can tell me how hard it is to gain access to that garnish piece to remove it so I can re secure the lock cylinder?

getting there is easy. all you need is a (12?)mm socket to remove the bolt that holds the pull-handle onto the lift-gate. once that's off, take a butter knife and go around the plastic trim, gently popping out the plastic thingies that hold it on. (yes. they are called thingies). now you use the socket to remove the billion bolts holding the metal cover on. now you can see the garnish piece.

chances are (especially if you're in my boat) that the strings of floss that held the cylinder onto the garnish have broken and you will have to buy a whole new garnish. youch, 200 big ones!

I fixed mine with superglue. The plastic had broken where each screw mounts, I glued these then I put a bead where the lock cylinder mounts against the plastic a few weeks and its still holding up.
