So this happened this week!

Next on the list:
- loosen up the ebrake
- Fuel Filter
- PCV valve
- rust mitigation/POR 15 (whenever I can get access to a pressure washer and water hookup... Dang townhome)
- finish lift components!
-OME 890
-Tundra Billies all around
-OEM LBJ's
-Diff Drop? Do I need this or should I have it?

Any other suggestions?!

Lastly. I'm starting to design the rear storage/sleeping platform. Got lots of ideas, just trying to figure out how tall to make it. Should be a fun project!

Your build looks great so far, very clean truck.

When you say that the rear wiper does not work, are you missing one? I mention because I ran across my extra rear wiper motor and arm the other day while digging through my old parts truck pile. Let me know if you want some parts, I've got a lot.

Sending you a PM!

I would have thought that wiring would have been the cause of your rear wiper dilemma. Also, the issue with your key not working in the rear window, does your key lock and unlock the glovebox?

Edit: I saw that the shorts in your wiring fixed the window issue, so nevermind. Just wanted to make sure you had a master key

Your truck looks exactly like my 2000. Even had the hood rust thing which seems to come from where the supports are pinch welded to the supports.

Get those LBJs replaced soon. Definitely do that before and brake upgrade

Nope, just had the arm broken off at some point. And the rear window was part of the entire locking system. Ended up being a short in the wires blowing the MPX-B fuse.

The hood rust is frustrating. I'm trying to figure out the options for fixing it to make it look normal again.

Also, already got the brakes upgraded! TBU works so well! Just might need another bleed. and LBJ's are on the list with the lift components. Might as well do it all at the same time.

Yeah, I edited my post. I saw that the wiring fixed you issue.

The hood rust is rusted through though, so really the only way to fix it is to replace the hood.

How do you like your suspension setup!? Just read your sig and noticed you've got the TRD/890 combo. Which perch do you have the front billie set on? You've got the exact setup I'm looking at! Any chance I can see a pictures? Also, I've got a couple questions regarding it. Do you have a diff drop? Were the UCA's needed for alignment? And how far off was the rear axle for needing the panhard bar? These are the last components that I'm not sure if I need or not, sorry for all the questions!

That's OK. All good questions you should ask before doing any kind of lift.
Just to be clear, I recently totaled the 2000 and picked up a 99 LTD. I'm debating on what to do with the suspension, mainly because after driving the stock 99 I kind like the way it drives and handles. That being said, the 2000 with the lift, rode a lot better after getting everything straightened out. First the UCAs were for alignment correction. I really didn't like the steering wheel "feel" after the lift, which happens because of the lost caster, and the ONLY way to get it back is to replace the UCAs.
I had by Tundra 5100 with 5 perch settings on the 2nd perch. Really, the only setting you can use with the 890s.
I do have a 1"dif drop. Super simple to install.
My rear axle was shifted to the passenger side by about .5" which may not sound like a lot but after driving it like that for a while and driving behind my truck once, (it was dog tracking) I could tell it was something I needed to address. I was getting ready to install extended rear sway bar links in the rear (from a 2nd gen 4runner) which I think would have helped with the somewhat bouncy, swaying feeling in the rear.
Here's some before and after pics of my lift.

Updates!

Finally started sourcing the lift!

Currently have:
 • OME 890
 • TRD Tundra fronts

On order:
 • Coil Isolators
 • LBJ's (OEM)
 • Diff Drop
 • Tundra Bilsteins
 • 3/4" bushings for rear shocks
 • Poly sway bar bushings

Also, some more PM stuff.
Fuel Filter (OEM)
PCV valve/Grommet (OEM)
Ground down some rust to be repaired this week. Welding on some plates to help hold it all together and structure it back up near the passenger side lower control arm mount

Made it to the Pick your parts! and found some awesome stuff!
 • Trim pieces/seat bolt covers
 • grab handles!
 • a few bolts
 • Rear wiper arm! - $3
 • ECT switch for OEM style switch for aftermarket accessories later on
 • Rear window switch for cargo area switch connected to rear hatch key cylinder to be used without ignition

On the docket for the future:
 • Sleeping Platform
 • Fix the AC
 • Rear hatch access from inside (try it out)
 • Skids/Sliders
 • Roof Rack
 • LED lights
 • Exterior lighting

LBJ's installed (two bolts broke and took the longest out of the entire day) Couldn't have done it without tacojeff

Also was able to get the new coils/shocks in and a homemade panhard bar drop bracket. Seriously looks great!

Everything is listed above, and I'll try to get some pictures up. Slight forward rake which is what I want. Just need an alignment now.

Also on order:
 1. Stubbs HD-SKO sliders
 2. lil' skip gas skid

I'm trying to figure out front/belly skids. Shipping is so expensive, so I only want to do it once, but dang... they're just $$$

Anybody have a preference on Savage vs. Budbuilt. I know there are some other arguments for either or, but I'd like some real world experience if possible. I like the Bud's since they're smooth and streamlines, and also need fewer pieces. But the savages are a little cheaper/free shipping.

Thoughts? And Yes, when the pictures come... I know I need bigger tires, they look a little small in there, I'm hoping it all settles a little bit, and I know some added weight will help with that.

Next weekend is Fuel Filter, PCV valve and starting the storage/sleeper in the rear, oh, and an alignment!
