So We Are Planning To Drive The Pony Express

Hey all - my wife and I are in the initial stages of driving an overland trip on the old Pony Express Trail.

Has anyone done this before? Care to share any and all lessons learned?

Anyone want to join up with us for this adventure? We are planning on leaving WV around the middle of August 2015.

So far it looks like it's going to be an amazing drive. Can't wait to drive "The Loneliest Highway In America."

I've been across US 50 in Nevada numerous times. Those long desolate straights are a lot of fun on a hopped-up, de-restricted bike.

Just curious, you only hitting Nevada, or plan to pick it up in Missouri and do the whole route to San Francisco?
