My buddy also has a built low mile 87 GN. He has close to $40k in receipts for this car. Since he had his kids it just sits in the garage, here's a pic of it now. What a shame!

Yea my is full built as well and it has 88mm turbo and I'm in about the same with some one off hole shots wheels

haha. Honestly, I've considered it, but I love the way the car sounds, love the 9k+ redline, and I've never had a serious problem with the rotary, even after about a zillion trackdays.
For all the horror stories out there, there's a few that are actually semi-reliable.

EDIT: Sick Grand National! A clean GNX is one of my daily driver dream cars. Right up there with a G8 GXP. If they were'nt so desirable to thieves and gangsters, which there are a lot of in my area,, I'd probably be driving one.

It was riced out after the F&F movie, I bought it and put the stock body panels back on. The engine only needed basic maintenance like fluids and spark plugs. It's on the backburner as the other projects near their finishing point, I do projects in the order they are received. Runs and drives great, less than 70k on ODO.

It was neglected and sat for a long time (2006-2012). I bought it from an impound yard owner in the parking lot of a junkyard. Rebuilt 22R-TE, supra turbo, and W56 manual transmission swap.

89 Supra turbo - COB's '89 Supra Turbo
Original owner blew head gasket, left the car in his garage from 2005-2014. I bought it and it's now been in my garage until 2016. I've rebuilt the 7M-GTE, rebuilt an R154 5-speed and done a manual swap, and overall cleanliness mods.

99 4Runner - COB's 4Runner Timeline
Started life as a 2WD automatic. Swapped to a 5-speed manual R150F and 4WD. Supercharged 2.7L, bumpers, sliders, front skid, and a variety of other things. First project vehicle I ever had.

Are they Rushforth Livewires on the stang? I have them on my chevelle.
