So what kind of rims should I get

I decided to keep this another couple of years so time to spend some dough.

I never lifted it but it looks higher than factory?

1999 Highlander edition and 1999 4wd 4Runners came with tallest springs of all 3rd gens. That is stock height.

I honestly prefer OEM wheels over aftermarket... but, the Konig Countersteer rims that 4-Ripcord just got are pretty cool.

Otherwise, I'd keep them stock or find another set of OEM rims.

But I think that look only works on a modded truck. Like with a lift and bigger offroad tires and stuff.

On any stock-ish looking truck, stick with OEM wheels in OEM color.

I agree. If you put a set of more aggressive tires on there, then I would say maybe change it up. Those painted ones above look great on the dark green!

shimano had a blueish gun metal color on their xtr component groupo a few years back.. yours is pretty close.
I have tried to keep mine somewhat stock with slight enhancements but 4-Ripcord is right, I’ll stick with the factory color.
