I checked the weather on Friday and it was only supposed to get rain but I don't know for sure.

There were a ton of people up at SBNF/Big Bear last weekend. I found a side road and just kept driving till the crowds thined out.

Had to be rescued on the way up to Piute Peak and immediately came down after.

I did but i swear they plow that trail theres really no snow on it even after a storm
But that picture was taken from 2n54 theres always fresh snow and dumps pretty good there
Also glad your ok slide outs can be pretty intense
Looks like a fun tho
Anybody know any trials in the seqiuoas?

Jeez glad our ok... I side slid in snow/mud in arrowhead and came close to tip into a ditch but ATRAC came through (with some prayers)

Day trip, for the kids to play not to wheel in the snow.. Although, we will wheel some to get to a crowd free spot. My kids want to go tubing, so we might go after.
Anyway, thinking to hit up Holcomb Valley, not too familiar with the area. Close enough to the main road.
Let me know.. One of my buddies is interested too.

Anyone headed to big Bear I highly suggest planning an arrival of before 8am (ex 7:30am) because by 8:30 traffic can be a bi***.
In other news CA and the Sierra is about to be hit by an epic rain and snowstorm. The national weather service employees are serving all of US with Honor, working without pay FYI.

It was a nice one up there today
May i suggest 1n86 off glass rd and highway 38
Noone really goes there and sees a good amount of snow. Its on the other side of the highway from jenks lake. It was 2 deep 2 stop and take pics but made it thru

I would suggest that trail this weekend for snow play
Starts at the bottom of the 38 so you will def avoid the crowd's

Anyone going this weekend? I hit up 3N16 last Saturday but a 2WD Tundra blocked the road since it couldn't get up a icy hill
