SoCal Big Bear Run Sat. 10/2 or Sun 10/3

We were going to have a Big Bear run this weekend, but decided to move it to Sun 10/3 so more people could come. What day works best for you guys?? Who's coming?

Date: Sun. 10/3
Trails: John Bull, and...??
Meeting Time: 10:00
Location: Valero Station on Hwy. 18 in Rimforest
Required Equipment: 4x4, 32" tires, sliders (or a disregard for body damage), recovery points front and rear, tow strap (or winch), at least a 31" spare tire, balls of steel!
Recommended Equipment: 33" tires, rear locker, CB (Channel 33)

Alright, we'll make it for Sunday 10/3 then. I updated the list too. At this point we can choose what trails we want to do also. You guys wanna run John Bull? Any ideas welcome.

I am good with John bull one thing to consider is getting to the trail head as there are many different ways one can go to get there.

For you guys that have done john bull, how long is that trail? Also can we run other trails going to john bull or maybe after we finish? It would be fun if we can have and all day run, ofcourse if everyone is willing and time permits.

JB takes about 2 hours for a group to run it from trailhead to trailhead. We can definitely do one or 2 more trails in a full day. I figured I'd let other people chime in on if there are any trails they were wanting to do also. I know j-money$$$ also wanted to do JB and I don't think proudrunner has had a chance to run that one yet so it should be fun.

We could do Dishpan and JB (or the reverse), Gold Mtn. Pontiac Sluice, White Mtn., or anything else anyone wants to check out. I personally don't have any interest in Cleghorn (since they "neutered" it) and Pilot Rock, but if the rest of you guys want to run those, I'm still down.

The trails we run may also depend on how early we want to meet but I like the velero meeting point as there is gas food everything you might need be for you hit the trail. What is it in Blue Jay I believe?

The one we usually meet at is in Rimforest, a little before Lake Arrowhead.

im really excited to go on this run. You guys can pick a time to meet, but ill be going up the 18 through lucerne so i will meet you al somewhere on the east side of big bear. (arco station, or the dump off 3n?? whatever takes you to 3n10 or john bull) and as far as running another trail im game for anything but white mtn. I have heard thats the lamest trail. I recently have ran heartbreak ridge (night), gold mountain (night), and dishpan.

I think going up gold mountain then hitting john bull would flow nicely, but there is that chance that gold mountain will take a long time. I ran Gold mtn at night a week or so ago and it seemed to take awhile. But i was with a kid in a 09 taco.... he smashed up his shiny rear bumper......
