Start time.

I am going to be spending saturday night there so an early start is fine with me. I'll let other people decide how early they want to get up. One comment, if we want to be moving by 10:00 AM then we should set a meet time of 9:30 AM.

Ok, looks like we will head up on Saturday and stay the night. So an early start is ok with me.

Where's the best place to hook-up?

i'm fine with 9 - 9:30 but most likely ill be camping out saturday night too.

Meeting place for Sunday Morning

Lets meet Sunday morning somewhere in the Borrego Palm Canyon campground area. I addition to the campground there is a visitor center and public parking. I will look at my park brochure tonight to try to pin down a location.

The Borrego Palm Canyon campground is near Borrego Springs where gasoline is available.

Who else has FRS/GMRS radios? We should decide on a channel. If everyone else who has these has the GMRS channels then the higher numbered GMRS-only channels are better but if some people have only FRS then channel 5 is good as this frequency is shared by both FRS and GMRS.
