Hey there guys so I thought it would be easier if we vet everyone on the same page. So let's figure this thong out together. So with the forecast rain this Sun my place is a bad choice. Saturday I will be out testing out my new rear suspension and front bumper.

So pikeman has said it might be possible to use his garage Sun. I'm sure he twill soon be chiming in.

A shout out to baja bound and 3rdgenoobie I'm just trying to get this set up so we can get you both lifted and ready to hit the trails with the rest of us. Let's see what we can make happen.

Hey Jay - Looks like the lift will be showing up tomorrow :reddance: How are things shaping up with you for the weekend? Do you recommend getting the firestone lifetime alignment before i do this?

Yes it would be a good idea to get the alignment set up. So it is et that we are wheeling sat. So that leaves us Sunday. One thing to remember is that all work at my place is done in the driveway. That being said it is forecast to be raining both Sat and Sun.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather works out. Still havent decided on a tire though...

I'd go if it wasn't for work... but when you do get the new front suspension, we can have a lift party for our trucks even though we won't need to

Name the place and I am there. This has been a long time waiting and I feel like its the night before xmas. Except xmas comes early for me this year :)
Now if I can just settle on a tire guys???

sounds good jay we can plan it out,
have fun on Saturday with ur r&d can't wait to meet u all in the near future
need to pop my trailing/wheeling cherry lol

and yes Christmas sure did come early this year

I don't have any air tools but I do have a pretty complete set of other tools and can get the job done.

I have electric impacts and the tolls I carry everyday are plenty for a lift install as long as the front struts are assembled. With the current forecast it looks like it will be a wet messy job.

I was going to say I have my 18v cordless impact also. I do agree though with the weather it will be a wet mess under the truck even if we pull it into the garage will still be dripping everywhere. I also can't find my jacks and jack stands, am remembering a friend borrowing them so will track them down. How about we schedule in another week. For right after Christmas

Damn this rain!!! Well guys its your call since you're the ones offering the help and all... To be honest I dont know if I can wait much past sunday. I may have to figure it out myself then.

Michael - I'll call ya in the morning. I've got jacks and stands and some tools etc. Maybe it will work out if the rain subsides a bit. I'm hoping to be putting my lift to use the day after xmas so... I'll call you in the morning and we'll figure it out.

Ok new developments :bash: Just called a buddy who has a hot rod upholstery shop in LB. He said he has jacks, stands and air tools we can use as well as a garage sunday if we want...

I've got another friend who has a body shop and... although its not confirmed. I know he would let me bring the party there and use his lifts and everything else in the garage...

Confirm a spot to use Sun am and I will help you get it done. It would be very cool if we had a lift to use. I can bring air tools if there is air available. As I will be wheeling Sat I won't be checking or responding to this till late in the day.

Well need to thank Mike for setting up the shop and the shop for letting us work there. We got two Toytec Ultimate lifts installed. Still need to handle a diff drop and body lift on one of the trucks but overall it was a succesfull day.
