Hey guys, awesome site you have here!
I recently blew a brake line, spewing brake fluid all over the road (Passenger Rear Tire area) The shop replaced the line, re-routing it from above the gas tank to avoid having to drop the tank. They also replaced the Master cylinder with a rebuilt. Now my brake pedal has to be depressed at least 6 inches before I feel any significant braking. This is the same feeling it had after the line blew and and the pedal went down 6 inches. I limped it to the shop. The mecahnic said that maybe it's the Master they put in, and if I wanted they would try another. He said that he bled the system about ten times, and is very frustrated that the pedal won't stiffen up. My parking brake also needs to be pulled about half as far now as it used to for it to engage. Any help would be great at this point.
:wtf:
