The day has finally come......
Many of your guys on this forum know me and followed this build back in the day. Sadly, it has come time to send her off to a new home. I'll do my best to go over EVERYTHING on this build, but there is so much, I am guaranteed to forget something. If you are interested, please read this in full.
The Rig -
Started out as a 2011 Trail Edition 4Runner - Mag. Grey with KDSS and navigation. It currently has just over 140,000 miles. It has been 100% reliable since day one, no mechanical problems whatsoever. All maintenance is up to date. The tires were purchased last year and still have over 75% tread life on them. The engine / trans. is 100% stock and was never modified. The truck was a daily driver for me until recently, it drive across country or tackle trails... its incredibly versatile and well equipped. The interior is in excellent shape, the only wear spot is on the driver's seat cushion. Other than that, there are some wear marks in the cargo area from stuff bouncing around but the passenger compartment is excellent. The exterior is well maintained with a few brush scratches and very minor dings that were picked up over the last 9 years. There is no rust, paint rot, or anything concerning.
The Build -
I'll start by just throwing a list out there and expand on a few things.
There is well over $30k invested in this truck. It is in excellent condition and currently not driven and kept in a garage.
All fluids and spark plugs were replaced at 100k miles, the suspension was fully rebuilt and refreshed recently at 138K miles. It is currently wearing Hankook Dynapro MT's in 285-70 / 17" on blacked out factory Trail Edition Wheels. The KDSS pistons were removed a while back in favor of the better suspension. The KDSS electronics and plumbing is still intact, however the KDSS sway bars and pistons were donated to a friend for a project. Crawl control, ATRAC, the locking rear diff, all work perfectly. This truck will blow your mind on and off road.
