**SOLD** Gibson Exhaust for 07 V8 4runner

Looking to sell slightly used (1000 miles) Gibson exhaust for 07 V8 4runner. Just recently purchased from Burtman Ind. for 448. Looking to sell for 350, which includes shipping to any of the continental 48 states. item is also available for pick-up in the central PA area.

Why did you take it off? This is NOT stainless steel correct?

it is the stainless exhaust. honestly i believe the truck ran better better with the stock one on. at lower rpm it seemed the gibson had a bit of a dead spot unless you really jumped on the throttle. also i just didn't like hearing the exhaust with the gibson on it. i had some extra money, so i decided to try it to see if i would like it. it has been quite an ordeal getting the stock one back on since i cut it to get it off. had to get it welded back together twice because i didn't have the flanged end lined up properly. all this done while working off the ground. it good that i work in a machine shop and had the resources to get it back on. thanks for ur reply. i hope i will be able to get my $ back. one of these days i need to post some pics of my 4runner.

Wow. No offense, but you're not exactly a salesman are you?

I'll give you a bump. I like the system. There's NO WAY it causes a drop in performance, but it's not going to make you do laps around a stock 4runner. The benefits are a clean look, durability, quality sound (a healthy, civil rumble. It's not going to wake the neighbors), affordable in comparison to other systems, and easy installation (harder to get the stock system off than the Gibson on).

Buy this if you want it for sound and appearance, not if you want to shave 5/10th's of a second off your 0 - 60 time. Remember, it's a 4runner not a Mustang.

I was just being honest in stating why i got rid of it, but i agree it might not help to get rid of it. wasn't going into the purchase with expectations of huge performance gains. like i said wanted to try it out. turns out i just preferred how the truck was as stock.

The only difference between the 07 and and 04 v8 exhaust is the head pipe(the first pipe in line closest to the front of the truck). I've changed out my gibson exhaust from my 06 to my 03 and I just had to purchase that part from Gibson for $50 shipped. Hope that helps.
