**SOLD** Kenwood DNX5140 (1 week old)

This was on my truck exactly one week. I got it installed last Friday and will be removing it tomorrow morning. The unit worked fine, but the installation was terrible. They ran the camera cable wrong and the rear window snapped it when I put it down. I am just having them put my stock head unit back on because I don't want to put any more money into this.

My loss is literally your gain. I am selling everything you need to make this unit work in a JBL equipped 4Runner. Not parting out.

You will need to buy a camera, as I think they are just re-imbursing me the cost rather than replacing the camera itself.

Kenwood DNX5140 w/ Garmin Navigation (GPS receiver included)
PAC TATO TOYOTA JBL adapter
Kenwood KCA-IP301V iPod Video Direct Cable
PAC SWIJACK Steering Wheel harness (retains steering wheel controls)


I paid over $800 for everything about a week and a half ago. All boxes, manuals, etc will also be included.

Selling everything for $650 + shipping (firm) or local pickup in Orange County. Everything is literally brand new.

Also have a Kenwood CCD-2000 back-up camera for sale. The wire was severed in the install but the camera itself remained unharmed so a simple splice was all that was needed. Works perfectly, I will sell it with everything for an extra $100.

For people wondering this is an excellent system. I own the previous model (DNX 5120) and I highly recommend this line of navigation system. Everything is very user friendly and intuitive. Works great and extremely fast when using your iPod. The navigation also acquires satellites almost instantly and can compute directions in seconds. Kenwood also has a ton of add ons for this unit as well.

While you had it in there did it sound as good as the old JBL H/U? I'm still waiting for my parts to come in but as I recall you were one of the few (like me) who actually liked the JBL sound.

Good unit.
If I'm correct, the 22W RMS per channel don't need to be connected to the JBL amp( I'll wire it directly to the 4 speakers, replacing the rear speakers with mirrors).
maybe I'll just upgrade the battery and add a capacitor..
