Sold my 5th gen. Final Thoughts.

I sold my 2007 Infiniti G35 S 6MT for my 2006 T4R Sport V8 4x4 and it was quote a shift for me as well. I often regret that decision but when I find myself NEEDING to get to point A to point B in deep snow or mud or even torrential rain I always alleviate my 4Runner.

Anyways, I thought I was the only loon selling a G for a 4Runner but I guess not.

Sounds like we had identical G's by the way, mine also had all of the packages (Premium, Technology, and Navigation) AND was a manual, I bet there's only a handful of those G35 sedans outfitted that way. If you tell me yours was black then I'm going to think you bought my old one...

Did you manage to get a hotel room there that time of year? Oktoberfest is on during that time, so be sure to check out the Wies'n - just don't drive after, since Germany has zero tolerance for that sort of thing.

Right when I got my European Delivery confirmation date I started looking for hotels, that was about a month ago. Lots of hotels were full during that time but I'm just staying in Munich for 1 night then heading off to Switzerland and back to Germany.

Right now there is absolutely no hotels in Munich left. The ones that are left are charging ridiculous rates for.

I can totally relate to CIAZ's comments, I spent 18 months in a car I regretted buying everyday before getting my 4 runner a few weeks ago. As far as I am concerned, the guy should get whatever car will make him happy.
