Sold the 2002 4Runner. Getting misty eyed.

Had to do some serious thinking these past few weeks. My 2002 Sport has been extremely reliable and an exceptional workhorse. The only things missing are horse power and storage space. I think I could have lived with forking $2K a year for needed repairs but the family has spoken. Time for something new.

I've enjoyed using this forum for many years. The help has been great and seeing all the cool mods is awesome. Alas, my next vehicle will not be a 4Runner (or Toyota) and I feel nervous about the new direction I'm taking. My last four (4) vehicles have been Toyota's and only one of them has been 'iffy'.

Here is one last shot of my beautiful truck. I'm the original owner. 168K miles and no major repairs. Gonna miss it. Kinda hope someone out there in Houston gets their hands on it and makes it even more special.

These are hard to walk away from. I've owned one 3rd gen or another since 2001 and now am having a battle in my brain about selling my 02. Will not be a happy day when I see it drive off. Looks like a great condition 4runner you had there.

Oh chit.

I hate selling my 91 4runner after all the elbow grease i put into it.i still see it and drive it on occasion since i sold it to my friends son.that is a beautiful rig hope someone takes care of it.
