i want to know where you are going to find the parts alone for that cheap!
i have researched for months on end and the cheapest i have ever seen has been like 6300 and that was on a taco!
seriously though... where do you find your parts? for 1-3k, ill do it tomorrow!!!!
RunnerUp said:well im going to stick to the thought that it cost around 6k for doing a leaf over conversion, and the reason for that is because of this excel spreadsheet someone did as they SASed there tacoma...

if you choose to go this route, i would say expect to pay more than 6k!

but if you really think you can do it for 2k please make a write up as i would love to know how to do it for cheaper!
RunnerUp said:ok, so take out the cost of new tires.... -800, and assuming you are fortunate to have found a front axle with a locker/gears that match your rear axle gears, you might save your self another 1k, thats still 4200, but then you get back to the fact that you have to alter everything when doing an SAS, i mean sure, if you have planned it all out you might be able to keep your rear lift, but you will prob. change it down the road anyways, but im still saying, SAS is not a cheap option, esp. for someone that hasnt broken anything on their IFS yet, yeah it looks cool and is a nice conversation piece, but unneeded until you break some heavy duty stuff. trust me, if i could find a way to get it down to 3-4k, i would most likely do it, but i havent been able to do that yet
