I just bought a "new" 1992 4Runner. I love it. its a solid truck. Power everything which i like cept that 3.0 and auto combo depresses me.
ANYWHO....
it has the 4Runner sag going on and a few mechanical things i need to do. Just want some input on what I've been thinking and researching.
also I'm 22 years old and trying to get married so i want a good mix of low price with high quality

1. The rear sag:
Its got the normal sag going and that really bothers me cause my 3 trucks and 89 4Runner had no sag but these old coil overs are tired.
A. Now i've heard about these Rear spacer lift/leveling kits. They go under your stock springs to give it a little lift. (I'm thinking 2.5" rear with a 1.5" ball joint lift too)
B. Or I've heard about using heavy duty Land Cruiser coil overs. Haven't looked into those and i have no idea what year(s) they'd come off. But i heard they'd give about an 1 to 2 of rear lift. any input on this topic would be great.
C. And your ideas......go.
2. Ball joint spacers:
I don't want a huge full IFS lift (been there done that). I just want a little extra bump. I'm eying the 1.5" spacers. Maybe bigger tires in the future?
A. First off at BJ spacers even a good idea?
B. How do they work when replacing my stock BJs with some fresh ones. (a BJ install link work be nice)
C. How is the alignment issues? Are my coworkers going to hate me when i ask them to align it? What else do i need to do get the lift other than just install the spacers?

Also, i didn't search much but is there a curtain shock i will need or should get for my "lift"?
is the a curtain length of shock for a 1992 4runner?
