Well I decided to try and get some decent pictures of the 4Runner. Went out to the county fairgrounds to take some and thought some of these came out pretty good, although it may get a little repetitive..my picture taking skills have been lacking creativity lately.

Yep, thats 20%. I was freakin out about the dents when it first happen, but now I think it adds character. :

It would be cool if you could send me some pictures of your tint. I'm thinking about tinting mine to 20% and we both have about the same color 4runner. That doesn't look too dark either.

thanks for posting them up I like those clear front markers now you need the clear turn signal lenses.

I am getting ready to do Toytec front diff drop-it does not look difficult to me-is it?

Thanks for the comments! Clear signals are on my to-do list.

Your Toytec diff drop should come with directions but its very simple. Use a floor jack to support the diff while you remove the front diff. bolts. Lower the Jack slowly, allowing the diff to drop down. Insert the spacers (some prying may be needed) and insert new Toytec hardware. The hardest part really is getting the nut lined up on top of the crossmember but its still not difficult at all.

Clemson, I'll try and get some better pictures of the Tint for ya. It is suntek 20% and I have had no issues from the 5.0 either! The guy who installs my tint has his own tinting business and has made himself very rich by tinting windows on multi-million dollar holmes. He knows what he is doing and he recommends 20% for matching the rears.

I thought that the rears were lighter than 20%, but I'll see when you get those pictures.

If they are about 20% that would be sweet. I wouldn't have to spend as much money.

How much did it cost you if you don't mind? Did you get the sun roof tinted?

Very true. My '98 Limited has both of these.

I can't decide if I want to remove the black piece that covers the brake light in the back.

Short version of the story is that my truck was a theft recovery, recovered and re-assembled in Canada where it is apparently normal for 4Runners of this color to have color-keyed bumpers and grille and what not. I also have daytime running lights which didn't come factory on US 4Runners until 2000 or 2001. So mine is a US 4Runner with some canadian goodies and built in Japan. I call it Americanadese.

The same thing happened to me when my sister ran my Honda Rincon into a tree. The damage reminded me of Scar from the Lion King...

When i bought my clear corners they came with some clear turn signals as well, but they wont fit with my tjm bumper. Shoot me a PM if your interested

They are the wheels from the new body TRD off road edition Tacoma's. They come in silver, and I sanded them down and painted them black.

Here are the pictures of the tint you requested. It only cost me $50 for the front two windows, and the strip on the top of the windshield. Again, this is a friend of mine who tints so you will likely pay a little more. I didn't get the sunroof since it has factory tint, but I think next time he comes into town I'm gonna have him do the sunroof with 5% or so. Let me know if there are any other shots or angles you want.

Thanks alot man. Those are just what I wanted. It does look really good. I was worried that I would have to get the whole car tinted, but I think I will probably just do the front two now.

How is night driving? In the rain?

I would much rather pay $80 for two windows than $275 for five.
