You have quite a few answers you are looking for with information you haven't provided.

Instead of searching on here, search google. This search sucks a$$

copy and paste: site:toyota-4runner.org

This searches this forum. Any words after that will be searched. Just make sure it's under the 3rd gen forum so it's model specific.

Ie, type 35's, or back spacing, etc.

Ask knowledgeable tire shop too.

My info is very basic and should be confirmed, but stock back spacer is I believe around 4.85"??. Many like to space that out to clear limited flares. 33's should fit, albeit close with stock wheels to rubbing upper control arms. 35's I believe rub and require adjustment in BS and trimming/body lifts.

Just use my search method above to find info. ie: site:toyota-4runner.org 35 tires or 33, or back spacing, or whatever.

To search just the 3rd gen forum, use site:www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/

OP, you've got some research to do. Do you know what backspacing is? You need to know the backspace on your current rims and the backspace on the rims you want. If the new rims have more backspace than your current rims, the difference between them is the size of spacer you need to use.

If you don't have a particular rim in mind yet, then it's easy. Measure the backspace on your current rims, and buy new rims with the same backspace.

15's and 33/35's NOO get 16's and do the tundra BRAKE UPGRADE. Safer and better stopping lower, especially with huge tires
