I just had to post the most recent malady with the 4 runner.

I was driving in one of the recent dumping of white crap and my ABS light magically appears. So I did the jumper trick under the hood and it flashed a 33. When I got under the truck and pulled the wiring from the holders, to get a good look, I find one of the worst jerry rigging jobs. Some shmuck put the wires back together with butt connectors and electrical tape! So after spending an hour and a half with some extra wire, solder, and my trusty soldering gun, she's as good as new.

Just had to share.

Also, the previous owner of my T4R thought it was a smart idea to use speaker wire as the ground between the engine block and the firewall. :ybrick:

Using the DIAGNOSIS port on the intake manifold, you jumper from E1 to Tc and the ABS light will flash when you turn on the ignition, and tell you the code. Mine went flash, flash , flash, pause then flash, flash, flash, that's a code 33 for the right rear sensor.
