Dunno. There's just something not right about Nordstrom bags sitting in the back of a rough and ready TE. :confused: :p

What part of the Cape are you vacationing at?
 
I summer on Cape Cod. The BMW is photographed at the Outermost Harbor Marina, in Chatham, and the 4runner is photo'd on Chapin's Beach in East Dennis. I love driving my 4Runner, but if i'd have to chose it would definitely be the BMW. Besides the beautiful interior quality, and involving driving experience, there is just something beautiful about the e90 3-series that appeals to me. Regardless, I really do love driving the 4R- it is a fun car... surprisingly with it's soft driving dynamics, numb effortless steering and very spongy handling- I enjoy the car very much. The 4R has great utility, i love the water resistant cloth seats, and it just seems like it will last forever. It is a lot more 'SUV' than the old Wrangler it was traded for. Excuse the Nordstrom/Bloomingdales bags. For as much as I spend on clothes, I clearly could not afford another suitcase, since I was transporting random things in those bags down to the cape. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle? :bigok:

I grew up on the cape and spend time down there, take her out to Race Point. How did she do at Chapin? How much did you air down too? The permit price down there is still high for out of state drivers.
 
I had the air at 15, and put it in sand mode- the truck did great! it felt like I was driving on a smooth road, no problems at all. How is Race Point? It must be beautiful up that way, I've heard a little but have never been.

Great to hear! I have yet to make it out on Nauset yet, even though I had the sticker all last year, lol. I am waiting for the plovers to clear then get the sticker for this year and head out. I am excited to see the difference between this and my old Durango (99') on the beach. The D did am amazing job, never got close to getting stuck even when others were just barely making it through some areas. I think the biggest difference will be the suspension and GC. The D's skid plates were constantly dragging along the sand with the tires in the ruts and the suspension would bottom out hard if going a little too fast over the high/lows.
