are you talking about black leather? if so, trust me I thought about it, and thought about it, just not sure how it would have come out, so played it safe, I still think I may have made the wrong choice. haha

the color you picked looks factory IMO, plus i would imagine black would get hot as hell in the summer. Looks good to me! Didnt know they made such a thing.

Thanks Lex, i've admired your ride since I've started looking on here. they are well made, have a good reputation, and match (as you said) very well. I got a hell of a deal on them, so I couldn't pass it up. I feel the value it adds to the truck is greater than the cost, and I don't care for cloth as it retains smells and is harder to clean, only draw back to these is maintaining them.
No don't get me wrong, I think it looks great! You did not make the wrong choice, you just made a choice. And Lex is right, it does look more factory and I am with you on how it would come out, but I probably would have taken the chance (pity I don't have the money LOL).
Lex - Just as medic said (I feel like we have another medic on the boards, but all the boards mesh together for me so I don't know for sure haha), the KatzKin is a VERY well made product.

thanks Kyle, I like the sport interiors w/ charcoal, but not sure how the leather would come out, I'm very pleased with it, I like that you cannot tell it's aftermarket right away. and the price wasn't too bad, I found an Ebay auction, it was 300.00 + 45 shipping, the auction ended, and I told him I'd do 300 shipped, he took it, I will give you his site if you'd like, they are brand new, came in box, plastic, w/ warranty card and Katzkin invoice. then went on craigslist and found someone to come to the house and put them on. it worked out well, he charged 150.00 and it took 6 hrs.

Wow that's a great price. I'm actually giving my truck to my little brother for another 4runner and the new one already has Katzkins in it. I'll post pics when I get it, but thanks for the offer. You may want to post the site anyway just for everyone else :cheers:
I think that's what he was going for. That's the good thing about this particular company. You can have it custom done however you want it (like my new truck has grey/black suede), or you can have it function just as a cloth to leather conversion (as if it were stock).

That's the point (at least to me) it's supposed to look stock, not like a cheap aftermarket, or ricer seat.
