Somebody Stop Me!

I am thinking about trading in my 2008 T4R Sport 4x4 V8 bone stock with 75k for a 2013 FJ TT. The crazy part is that I traded my 2007 FJ in for the 4runner. Am I loosing my mind or has anyone else thought about it?

Haven't even crossed my mind. This is my 2nd t4r, and the closes I got to the FJ was when they where displaying them at the state fair. First year, granted, looked good for what they where, but, too small.

Buy the way, your stopped, so don't look at them anymore.

I wouldn't do it. I view the FJ and Jeep sorta like a sportscar. I would only consider one if I was a serious "wheeler". But I'd probably look more closely at the Jeep before the FJ. Why not a used Landcruiser?

How about a '13 4Runner trail? I do like the FJ but the 4Runner has a lot more room and some features that the FJ doesn't offer. And if you have kids the 4 doors are a major plus!

seriously looked at the FJ when shopping for a new vehicle.

didn't like rear "doors", the back seat, or the cargo area.

I did like some of the off road advantages like the approach/departure angles.

Looked at the Tacoma as well, just don't need the pickup bed often enough to drive it around everyday.

Settled on the 4R because it's a real 4door, nice back seat, good cargo space, it's comfortable and could drive forest roads without any trouble.

If I could justify owning two cars I'd probably have a 4R for a daily driver and a Tacoma setup for off roading.

I've toyed with the idea of doing this, I'd miss the V8 too much. I'd miss the looks of the 4Runner too compared to the FJ.
