i did a ton of search and read and i'm more confused than ever..

I currently have 1.25 spidertrax on stock sr5 with falken AT tires stock size

I would like to get new wheels with the correct backspacing and offset to get the same stance i have now but eliminate the spacers..

will 17x9 be too wide to keep using the falken AT 265/70-17 tires?

thanks for any help..

According to Falken's specs, if you are running the "E" rated version of that 265 it's max approved rim width is 8.5". If you are running the "C" rated the max approved rim width is 9.0". However, I seriously doubt that .5" will make that much of a difference but you can always run an 8" wide rim to be on the safe side.

i have c rated 265/70-17 and i think 7-9 is ok

i'm thinking about 17x9 4.5 backspace -12 offset

will this make my wheels stick out more than they are right now with spidertrax?

i really really wish there was pics i can see of this size wheel on a 5th gen
