considered buying a jeep

Same here, back in '05 I was debating between a JGC, Trailblazer/Envoy, or the 4r. Needless to say I made the correct choice!!!

I also accidently swapped the plug wires on my wife's old mitsubishi POS. It took a free tow (insurance) and a $100 diagnostic fee to figure out what was wrong. Not one of my brighter few days.

I got married.:gun4:

Although it did give me one of my best things. . . . . . my wonderful 11 yo daughter.

change the cluster led and only half work, i have 8 bad leds and this whole thing took 3 hours to do, now im waiting for someone to help me fix.

97 Jetta. Replacing the wiper blades. I had one of the spring loaded arms up without a blade on it. I turned to put on the new blade and accidentally hit the arm. THHWAPP!! Spring loaded arms cracks windshield. DOH!

That's funny about the wife driving the 4R. Mine has driven it twice (last night being the second time).

First time, I get a call that she pulled into the garage. Then opened the lift gate, which hit a self tapping screw in the bottom of the garage door. Nice long gouge in the paint. I think it was a few weeks old at the time.

Last night, she gets pulled over for not having her head lights on (I leave my DRL's on). The cop let her go with a warning, but had to show her where the headlights were. LOL

To her defense on that one, I need to have the dealer set the light to turn off automatically. I thought that was the default from the factory, but mine's not doing it.

I replaced a garbage disposal once and cut the electric going to it with a pair of dykes without turning off the breaker.

You can now use those dykes as wire strippers, lol.

Tonight I was out of my truck in the garage. Trying to figure out why the door was not going down. Now I have a scratch in the rear bumber. life.

Had the windshield washer bottle pulled to fix a leaky seal and didn't put everything back together overnight because I was waiting on the part to come in at the dealer. Then I drove the car 15 miles or so round trip to pick up said seal with the battery loose and a washer pump bouncing around in the engine compartment. I now have stylish polka dots all over my engine compartment and a nice horizontal stripe across the inside of my hood from spraying battery acid. Oh, and I lost the washer pump.

Left my truck idling in neutral (manual) at the top of my driveway in a snow storm to warm up, the 1 wheel e-brake after about a minute and a half and slowly slipped on the snow and the it quickly slide into a rock wall 20 feet away, the hitch took the entire impact and the rock wall was small and had no damage.

Sold the Jeep to buy a 4Runner :biggrin2::boxer:

Just kidding I love this thing... Is it as capable as my old Rig...No ... But lets wait till I SAS this pig and compare....
