Sometimes my auto start wont start my 03..??

i installed my auto starter on my 03 about a year ago.. sometimes it'll crank, but wont turn over..and that's it.. i'll lhave to hit the buttom again and it'll start... do i have a bad connection somewhere? any feedback would be great.. it seems to do it more in the cold than hot weather..
