New to the owners club finally.

Yesterday I had posted about a possible odometer fraud 4Runner I had been seriously considering purchasing (before learning about the odometer fraud). It was a '99 Black Sport edition with 132k on the odo (actually was about 20k more than that)

So I woke up pretty bummed about that.

Today things turned around quite nicely. Checked craigslist like I have been for the last two months watching for a 4Runner with the specific features I want.

1999 Limited 4WD with locking rear diff 145k miles... And now it is mine.

Might as well post the last two iPhone pictures I've got. I'd like to go get it dirty and then get some pictures with a real camera... Maybe next weekend.

Mods... Let's see... Probably nothing serious but a few things here and there.

Deckplate, ISR, LED Swap, HIDs (possibly)

I'm a huge hunting nerd and travel quite a bit so I want to keep the gas mileage up so probably no lift or anything... Yet...

Probably stick with a lot of clean up and maintenance. I want to get a new radiator and tranny cooler, change out all the fluids.

Right now I'm happy to just finally own one!

Nice pick up man! Ive been looking for about 2 months myself since my accident back in Jan. and so far nothing yet besides bs people that want to play games. So im being patient like you and hoping somethig comes up like what you have. Welcome to the forum.

Absolutely loving it so far.

The only issues I've found is that the climate control system doesn't work 100% so I think I'm gonna ship that over to ATE to rebuild it and I ordered a keyless entry fob on ebay last night because it didn't have one.

nice runner, very clean, now its time for the fun to come, lots of mods to do, cant wait to see what you do with it, would love to have the locker, couldnt find one at the time i bought mine, even now 5 months after i still cant find one, great catch, and welcome to the club, you came to the right place, lots of great info and people.
