Somewhat rough V8 idle

My 2003 v8 4Runner has a mildly rough idle. Nothing to get rid of the vehicle for, but if a water bottle is in the cup holder, you can see the water shaking in the bottle. Is this normal? Do you V8 owners have the same thing? Or can mine be tuned differently to stop this. The engine is so great otherwise, but this annoys me a bit. Once underway, the vibration disappears.
I measure 17.75 to 18.2 mpg on rural roads using mid-grade gas. The computer consistently says 19.5 to 20.5. So it's about 2 mpg optimistic--it doesn't seem to change much whether you reset the computer at fill up or not.

mine does the same thing, it doesn't bother me as long as i know its not a engine problem.

Mine is smooth in the '03 V8 we have, but i will say that the skid plate that's furthest-most back (covers the transfer case possibly?) rattles n vibrates when coming to a stop and the engine idle changes....or when the A/C kicks on in the summer and causes the idle to go up....and yes, ive tightened it and checked all necessary areas for loose nuts or attachments.fftopic:
