Looks great, I don't see that color very often. I assume some bigger tires are in order?

keep an eye on your CV boots, mine started leaking after 5 days. old rubber doesn't last long. put a pair of cheapo Autozone half shafts, not a problem almost 4 years.

are you putting on front and rear bumpers? SS1.2 isn't for the light weight.

Well I haven't driven it a whole lot yet, but its definitely different than before. It has somewhat of a floating body roll type of feel to it, but thats to be expected when it sitting on that much more springs and shocks. Overall it seems to ride a lot smoother. I'm sure that I get used to it driving a little bit different.

There is a bit of a vibration and I definitely need to get it aligned, so I'll wait to see if that goes away after its aligned.

Its a 2001 with 100,000 miles on it and I'm certain the suspension had seen better days. Also being an 01 it lifted it quite a bit as can be seen in the pics. Maybe 4" in the rear and 3" in the front but I haven't measured that yet so I'm just guessing.

I added a picture of it with just the rearend done. I was worried for while about wether the front was going to come up enough.

Yeah I know about the axle boots and I'll keep an eye on them. I hope the worst thing they do is leak and I can just re -clamp them ( hose clamps will do it I hope )

Bumpers..... I want to but some other things need to come first, alignment ,tires, timing belt, ect ect. As we all know the list goes on and on.

Nice lift! I'm going with SS as well in the near future. Any reason why you went with the 1.2a over the 1.2 or 7.2? Since he is at 100k do you think he needs lower ball joints?

Thanks everyone, suprised nobody has made fun of the color yet though.

I chose the 1.2 a because it seemed to fit what I use the truck for and what I have planned for it in the future.

Ball joints are good,as was everything else. Really couldn't find anything that was cause for concern.

Whoever had this Runner before me must have been very easy on it. I doubt it was ever off road or any thing. I bought it from a Lexus dealer about 2.5 years ago when I traded in a 97 Landcruiser with 200,000 miles on it that was quickly becoming a money pit just to keep it going. I twas never cared for very well at all and it was really showing it.
