I installed by Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift this week. Initially I was getting the 7.2 but didn’t want to regret it down the line. The rake really is noticeable, which I don’t mind. It’s going to force me to buy a CBI bumper now to help with that.
If you guys don’t know my runner is rusty as hell. And it took me 7 hours to install the back and another 7 hours to do the front and I’m still not done. I had to take an air chisel to some bolds and a torch to my break line.
I still have to adjust the break line, bumper stops, and front diff drop. I have gotten it aligned today. Because it was off a lot. I have lifetime with firestone!
Steve is awesome! And I’m not just saying it because I bought his lift. I called him because I needed some clarification and he helped me while I was installing the rear.
Next up is wheels & tires. I’m trying to work a deal for some FJ 17s 2007. I hope it works out or else I’m going to have to wait for a better deal.
