My name is Michael. 33 live in MN. My wife and I starting a family and are looking @ SUV's.
We are looking for a vehicle that will be used "as needed", mainly for winter driving "as needed" and taking our boat to the lake. We have an older boat. boat,motor trailed weigh approx. 2,000 .lbs or less. No more.
We would like to purchase something with quality, reliability and longevity. Immediately I thought 4 runner. My bros. in law has an 07 Tahoe that he lives. He uses his as an "as needed" vehicle too. He strongly rec. Tahoe or Denali. My experience with American vehicles is fair - poor. The quality of craftsmenship, parts, rust issues etc.. deters me. But you can find more for less with a Tahoe/ denali VS to a 4runner.
Anyways.. I just wanted to say hello. I am going to post in the General message for for advice when searching / screen a 4 runner.
