Hi, Im not new to Toyotas but I am new to 4 runners. I am a Scion Manager at a Toyota/Scion Dealership in Bowling Green Ohio and we recently got in a pristine 4 runner in on trade and the girlfriend has wanted one for a while. We cant afford new at this time so this is a great substitute.
I know it will need tires soon so I was looking at prices online and began to get confused on model. It has 16" wheels on it but I thought it was a sport and when I look up sport 4runner tires I get 17" tires as a result. After that I ran the VIN through car fax and it comes back as "2005 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5/SPORT EDITION" I wasnt aware you could have a SR5 Sport? Anyone care to enlighten me?

Nice looking ride.

The Sports start out life as an SR5 and get extra options thrown on. The bones are the same. My Canadian Sport has both SR5 and Sport Edition badges on it from the factory. And yes Sports come with 17" wheels, which are the ones shown in the pics (not sure where you may have seen 16", those are clearly 17").
