Soooo I had this 8 ball laying around...

So what would anyone do with it? That's right make a shift knob out of it.

It did come out just a bit off center because I don't have a drill press. But the wife thinks its fun. And if I ever get tired of it I can put the stock one back.

I used a 1/4" drill bit to make the hole and then tapped it with a M8 tap.

I wouldn't say float it exactly. I was bored and wanted something fun to do with an old 8 ball. Not like I could have made an antenna topper out of it.
