No the O8ama administration does not oppose SOPA. He will sign it. Dont believe what you read in the news. Has he threatened a veto? I hope he fights for it .... yeah right bud, like he fought against the NDAA. .. wake the F up. O8ama works for the same poeple as the republicans .. big business and the banks.

The president is not the government. The legislative branch is widely known to be more corrupted by business and banks than the executive branch.
You act as if Obama came up with SOPA himself.
Anywho. I'm not an avid Obama supporter. Sorry if I come across that way. I try to stay out of politics because there's far too much bias and partisanship to make sense of anything in my opinion.
But at the end of the day, this bill has nothing to do with the president. I also don't think it's going to pass in current form.
Also, I will be posting pictures of my new 2000 highlander next weekend

I have no tin foil hat. I am a military veteran and a college educated Engineer. I read everything (well alot) and I don't watch news on the TV. I started a thread in /off-topic/ called "where do you get your news"
You should accept that the President is responsible for the bills that he signs. FDR was responsible for inturning the Japanese, GW was responsible for the Patriot Act, O8ama is responsible for the NDAA, continuing Bush era tax cuts for the rich && he will be to blame for SOPA once he signs whatever compromise occurs.
People need to stop making excuses for their leaders actions by blaming the other side. When Bush was in office liberals and independants blamed Bush for the laws that passed. Well Bush is gone now. The current pres is responsible for the laws he signs that is how it works.
How is this related to SOPA? Well I believe the administration DOES support the bill. It was created by Patrick L. a democrat, someone who has close ties to the White House and no surprise hollywood.
O8ama will eventually propose some grand compromise tell his followers he had to accept it, that compromise is good for everyone.
Sorry for the rant I am just so sick of people making excuses for these compromises, I really do think our freedoms are in serious jeapordy.
