Sorry guys, non-T4R related, but this is how my weekend went!!

Well, the wife and kids are ok, but her ZJ didnt fair so well. She had a wreck Friday morning. Got quite a bit done to it this weekend as far as trying to get it back driveable, but it will never be the same. Fixed, well, rigged what I could the old fashioned way. Come along, some heavy duty chains, big butt sledge hammers, big butt pry bars, and a tough arse tree!! End result, she can still drive it and will still be a good trail rig!!! Still need a headlight, ended up picking up the wrong side at the salvage yard Saturday, and a bumper cover. Think im going to put a custom bumper on it now after this happening.

Thanks man! Yeah, always scary when you get that phone call!! All is good except for a couple bruises from the seatbelts!

Yeah, it looks alot better now then it did Friday, lol. I dont even think im going to worry about painting it.

I started on it Saturday morning. Ran over to a salvage yard in Greeley and pulled the hood, fender, charcoal canister, blinkers, lights and the headlight support. Got all that home and went to pounding!! I got most of it pulled back out and straight enought to bolt most of the stuff back up in its original place, but the fender support is shoved down and back too far, I couldnt get it out any further. I had to put spacers in between the support and the front few bolts on the fender to get it to mount where it needs too. Itll work for now I guess.

Anyone have any suggestions on the charcoal canister? Will it be ok for me to relocate it from under that bumper to under the hood somewhere? I couldnt get that bumper pulled back up enough, so the canister is down and back further than it should be, and im pretty sure her tire will hit it now.

Thanks, its just hard to believe how easy it is to crush something, and how hard it is to pull it back out! We spent the entire weekend getting to how it is now.

Thanks! Luckily it looks good on the outside, but when you open the hood, you can sure tell where I had to try to pull everything back out. Im not into Jeeps anymore myself, and I feel terrible because that is her baby, and when I showed up at the scene and was trying to get it where we could get it home, I told her it was done, that there is no way I was sinking anymore money into it, its got 200k on it now as it is. She started crying after I said that. But, luckily, I found all those parts for only 135.00, so it ended up being worth fixing after all.

Few more pics as of this afternoon. Just got to figure out what to do with that canister now!! And sure need an aftermarket bumper. Yes, that crumpled metal still looks like crap on that corner, but I cant get it any better with my knowledge.
